Find your footing in Sevens

The example and rules describe the same game you can play above. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens. Keep the goal in mind before your next move. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction.

Four-player free Sevens with three local computer opponents. This table uses the seven-of-diamonds opening and low Aces.

A small practice goal

The example and rules describe the same game you can play above. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction.

Understand the aim

Take a moment to check the current turn. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens.

The steps to play

  1. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each.
  2. The holder of 7♦ must play it first. Other suits can open with their own seven.
  3. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end.
  4. Play a legal card whenever possible. Passing is allowed only when no card fits.
  5. The first player with an empty hand wins the round.

Making selections and moves

Read the position before choosing your next action. Tap an enabled card from your hand. The suit rows show cards already played. Use Pass only when it is enabled. The game area remains available above the explanation.

Take a moment to check the current turn. After 7♥ is opened, 6♥ or 8♥ can be played. 5♥ must wait until 6♥ is on the table. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction.

Check this before moving on

The board gives you the information needed for the next action. A matching rank in another suit does not extend an existing row. Every suit has its own sequence. Start a new round when you are ready to try again.
